Hey!
My name is Brandon and I am the designer of The Modular Trim Pouch. By day, I am a full-time trim carpenter, out here grinding away just like you. I am also the founder of Spruce Systems. It has been pretty cool starting a micro brand of my own. The initial response to Spruce Systems has been amazing. The feedback from happy customers and excited followers keeps me pushing forward.
WHAT IS THE BEST PART ABOUT STARTING A MICRO BRAND?
Definitely the connections made with the users. These are the kind of carpenters you wish you always got to work beside. Intelligent jig makers, clean organized workspaces, high end tools, and endless tricks and tips to make the job go smoothly. If only we could all get together for a beer, or better yet build a house.
WHO IS PART OF THE TEAM?
So far the company is just one very talented leather craftsman named Ben, along with the support of my family. Keeping the company compact and working in small batch runs, keeps quality high and changes implemented quickly.
